The journey then continues to Amphawa which is one of the most popular and famous tourist attraction in all of Thailand. This market is built of wood by the river and genuinely Thai. 99% of those who visit this market are Thai tourists from all over the country. Here you can eat good (especially seafood), homemade ice cream, fruit and vegetables in all different shapes and colors and of course there is the opportunity for shopping, including Thai handicrafts.

Early in the morning you leave Hua Hin and head north towards Kanchanaburi and River Kwai, but before we get there a boat trip awaits. the floating market in Damnoen Saduak. Once in Kanchanaburi, you visit the JEATH Museum, where prisoners of war tell their silent story through their paintings and images from World War II. Just around the corner from JEATH is the famous bridge. You also visit the war cemetery where over 9,000 Allied prisoners of war are buried.

You will be picked up by transfer from your accommodation at 06:30 and will be back around 19:00. The journey goes west towards River Kwai in Kanchanaburi, the country’s warmest province. At the JEATH Museum, prisoners of war tell themselves, without words, about their experiences. The bridge over the river Kwai, famous from the movie of the same name, is an obvious place to visit.

After a two-hour journey from Hua Hin, you will arrive at Damnoen Saduak, perhaps the most famous of all Thailand’s floating markets that gives you, in addition to many photo opportunities, an insight in how life in Thailand was once lived – on and around the canals.

You will be picked up from your accommodation at 08:30 and will be back around 14:00. After a short trip of approx. 1 hour north you arrive at Phetchaburi. Here you will visit King Mongkhut’s (Rama IV) summer palace Phra Nakhorn Khiri, or Khao Wang, the palace mountain, as it is called locally. Rama IV was very interested in astrology and he had a tower built next to the palace where he could observe the sky. The palace is mainly built in European style, with elements of Thai and Chinese architecture.
Damnoen Saduak is perhaps the most famous of all Thailand’s floating markets and gives you, in addition to many photo opportunities, an insight into how life in Thailand was once lived – on and around the canals. You will be picked up from your accommodation around seven in the morning and head north to the floating market in Damnoen Saduak where you arrive at nine o’clock.

After an hour’s journey south through the Thai landscape, including pineapple fields, you come to an unspoilt fishing village in the middle of Sam Roi Yod National Park, Thailand’s first marine national park established as early as 1966.
Half-day excursion to the beautiful Pala-U waterfall, belonging to the Kaeng Krachan National Park. The waterfall is located about 60 kilometers west of Hua Hin seen, on the border with Burma. On the way to the waterfall you stop at the famous temple Huay Mongkon. Then the journey continues past pineapple plantations and through the jungle and with a little luck you can see both elephants and gibbons as well as a whole range of other wild animals. Keep eyes and ears open.

You drive about 2.5 hours south to the unspoilt village of Bansaphan Noi. From there you will go on a 15 minute boat ride to a place where you can snorkel among corals and tropical fish.

You need to take a transfer (transfer is not included in this package, contact us if you need help with transfer) about 2.5 hours south to a small port where you then take a “speedboat” out to the island, this journey takes 20 minutes.

This beautiful waterfall is located just 63 kilometers from Hua Hin and during the journey west towards the Burmese border you pass both pineapple fields and dense jungle. You have the opportunity to see wild elephants, gibbons and other animals that live in this area.
