General Information
Practical guidance for everyday living and property care in Hua Hin.
Security power supply
Your electrical cabinet (Safe-T-Cut / earth fault circuit breaker) should normally be set to 25 mA. If it repeatedly switches off, contact LARF so the installation can be checked by a qualified electrician.
Security
Always lock doors and windows, including at the rear of the house. Store valuables carefully and avoid leaving them visible or unattended.
A / C – Be energy smart
Turn off air conditioning when you are not at home. When the A/C is on, keep windows and doors closed to avoid unnecessary electricity use.
Toilets
Do not flush toilet paper or other materials that can block the drainage system. Blockages may require a plumber and can become expensive.
Sink
Do not pour frying oil or coffee grounds into the sink. Over time this can cause pipe blockages and unnecessary repair costs.
Before you go home
Empty perishable food and drinks that may leak or attract pests. Leaving food for a long period can damage kitchen cabinets and create pest problems.

We welcome suggestions on how to improve our service and residential areas.
Snakes and other insects
Thailand has many insects and animals that may be unfamiliar. Keep a safe distance from snakes and other wildlife and contact staff if assistance is needed.
