Amphawa floating market

This excursion is arranged every Saturday. You will be picked up from your accommodation at 13:00 and will be back again around 21:00.

The journey then continues to Amphawa which is one of the most popular and famous tourist attraction in all of Thailand. This market is built of wood by the river and genuinely Thai. 99% of those who visit this market are Thai tourists from all over the country. Here you can eat good (especially seafood), homemade ice cream, fruit and vegetables in all different shapes and colors and of course there is the opportunity for shopping, including Thai handicrafts.

After that it is time to take a boat trip in a longtail boat along the river where you pass many fantastic houses where the locals live. After the river trip you stop and enjoy a wonderful dinner (drinks not included).

After dinner, it’s time again for a trip with the longtail boat to this time view all the fireflies that have gathered in the trees and bushes along the river – it is reminiscent of a Christmas tree in some places. An absolutely fantastic experience!
