Pa La u vattenfall
Half-day excursion to the beautiful Pala-U waterfall, belonging to the Kaeng Krachan National Park. The waterfall is located about 60 kilometers west of Hua Hin seen, on the border with Burma. On the way to the waterfall you stop at the famous temple Huay Mongkon. Then the journey continues past pineapple plantations and through the jungle and with a little luck you can see both elephants and gibbons as well as a whole range of other wild animals. Keep eyes and ears open.
Once you arrive, after a short walk through the jungle until the first fall. Pala-U consists of a total of 16 steps, but for most it is enough to climb up to the fourth or fifth step, where you get to about half an hour. The higher steps are very difficult to access and are only recommended for the really enduring and well-trained.
There are several natural pools where you can swim. Those who do not want to swim can instead enjoy the tranquility and all the birds, butterflies and other animals that are in the area.
After about one to one and a half hours at the fall, you return to the gathering place and then there will be lunch and refreshments before it carries off back to Hua Hin again.
NOTE! Good shoes are necessary for this excursion.
The best time to visit the waterfalls is from November – April.
